About Me

I’m Daniel, a sport lover, with a passion for Photography.

I live in Wrexham with my wonderful Wife Claire and our two lovely Cavapoos, Poppy and Margot.

Family means the world to me. After tragically losing my dad in 2022, I know just how much the little moments matter. I firmly believe you can never have too many photographs of the people you love.

My camera obsession started with nature photography during lockdown in 2020, when we were only allowed to go out for 30 minutes of exercise.  From that moment on, my camera has been by my side, whether it’s shooting landscapes, wildlife, nature, commercial, lifestyle or sports.

From a very young age, Sport has been my main passion in life and so it was inevitable I would gravitate to this area of photography, shooting sports such as Football, Cricket, Golf and Athletics.

Away from sports photography I have had the opportunity to shoot the Wrexham Lager Festival on behalf of Wrexham Lager and Acorn Commonwood. It was something I’d never done before, but I loved it! Weaving my way through the crowds taking candid photos of people enjoying themselves, it was great.

The good thing about the festival was if you wasn’t taking photos of the people I had the chance to be up close and personal to the bands. I had the opportunity of taking action shots of some great performers such as The Sherlocks, The Columbians, Jonny Ash and Wrexham’s very own The Declan Swans, it was brilliant.  It was an area of photography I hadn’t contemplated shooting, but after having a little taster, I certainly wanted more.

Doing a great job at the festival has certainly opened doors for me. I’ve had a number of projects as a result, as well as working with The Declan Swans on a regular basis and having an Access All Areas pass to gigs at fantastic local venues such as The Rockin’ Chair and The Parish.
